Notice 1:
Citizen Participation & Grievance Procedures Notice

The City of Trinidad has adopted complaint and grievance procedures regarding its Texas Community Development Block Grant Programs (TxCDBG). Citizens may obtain a copy of these written procedures at 212 Park St, Trinidad, Texas 75163 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Citizens may also request the procedures be mailed to them by calling the City Office at (903) 778-2525. These procedures outline the steps for a citizen to follow if s/he wishes to file a complaint or grievance about TxCDBG activities.

A person who has a complaint or grievance about any services or activities with respect to the TxCDBG project, may during regular business hours submit such complaint or grievance, in writing to the Civil Rights Officer, at 212 Park St, Trinidad, Texas 75163 or may call (903) 778-2525. The City of Trinidad will make every effort to respond fully to such complaints within fifteen (15) working days where practicable.

Fair Housing, It's the Law

To promote fair housing practices, the City of Trinidad encourages potential homeowners and renters to be aware of their rights under the National Fair Housing Law. Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, as amended, prohibits discrimination against any person on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status or national origin in the sale or rental of units in the housing market.

NOTICE OF MEETING
TRINIDAD ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

August 13, 2019 - 5:30 p.m.

Notice is hereby given that a Special Session on Tuesday, 13th day of August 2019 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 212 Park Street, Trinidad, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be discussed:

CALL TO ORDER AND INVOCATION

INVOCATION

VISITORS/CITIZEN INQUIRY: In accordance with the Open Meeting Act, Council is prohibited from acting or discussing (other than factual responses to specific questions) any items brought before them at this time. No formal action can be taken on these items at this meeting. Discussion is limited to five (5) minutes per person.

WORK SESSION (no action to be taken on following agenda items

1. Eric Tindall - to meet EDC members
2. Discuss the performance agreement and paperwork from City Attorney.

ACTION ITEMS: All of the following items on the Action Agenda are discussed by the council and will be individually enacted upon with a motion:

1. Consider and approve performance agreement drafted by City Attorney.
2. Consider hiring Red Tarkington to trap hogs on EDC property.
