FRIDAY, Oct 13

5:00 PM FISH FRY served by the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary at the VFW Building located on Hwy 31, West of the traffic signal - $10 per person
7:00 PM PEP RALLY at the bonfire site behind the baseball field

SATURDAY, Oct 14

PARADE - All former classes and organizations are urged to participate in the parade, especially those classes being honored. If you know of or are a part of a parade troupe, feel free to invite them to participate and let Tony Bradley, the parade coordinator, know. This year's Grande Marshall will be Dr. John Sawtelle.

9:00 - 9:30 AM - PARADE LINEUP in front of the Community Center near downtown

10:00 AM - PARADE The parade will begin at the Community Center and will proceed to the school. At its conclusion, there will be a pep rally in the gym.
THE SCHOOL AND AUDITORIUM WILL BE OPEN FROM 10 AM ON INTO THE AFTERNOON FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO COME IN AND VISIT.

11:00 AM - 1:00 PM - LUNCH in the school cafeteria. As always, this is a Senior Class fundraiser and our support is greatly appreciated. Make plans to meet with your former classmates there for lunch.

12:30 PM - Begin registration for afternoon meeting

1:00 PM - FORMER STUDENTS MEETING in the School Auditorium. We will be honoring the classes of 1937, 1947, 1957, 1967, 1977, 1987, 1997 and 2007. We will also be conducting a silent auction that will conclude prior to the end of the meeting, and a live auction will take place during the meeting.
If you have a nice item to donate to either auction, please bring it as early as possible to be included in the sale. A form will be available for registering it. Also, please bring your Box Tops for Education and we will pass them along.

6:30 PM - PRE-GAME ACTIVITIES

7:30 PM - FOOTBALL GAME TRINIDAD TROJANS vs TYLER HEAT
Come out and support our TROJANS!! The honored classes will be recognized at half-time and the raffle quilt will be awarded. Cynthia Wiggins Lundy ('63) was the winner of last year's quilt.
COMMUNITY STREET DANCE downtown following the game. Everyone is invited.

 


SUNDAY, OCT 15

11:00 AM - HOMECOMING SERVICE AT UNITED METHODIST CHURCH followed by our annual pot-luck lunch Guest speaker - Bobi Ann Allen (daughter of Bobby and Ann Grayson Cargill)
Everyone is invited to attend the Sunday morning service and is encouraged to stay for lunch.

Thank you to everyone who has taken part in the homecoming activities in past years.
Thank you, also, to Vickie Airheart Rolison ('70) for donating the quilt for this year's raffle. Tickets have been enclosed for your convenience. If you choose to purchase raffle tickets, please put your name and phone number on the back of each ticket and return them with your check. All tickets will be included in the drawing at half-time on Saturday night. If you need additional tickets, they will be available at all activities during the weekend including at the ballgame prior to half-time. Checks can be made payable to "TESA".
The Trinidad Ex-Students Association is an organization open to anyone with an interest in the Trinidad School System, especially graduates, former students, and their spouses. We meet twice a year in Trinidad and discuss ways that we can help the community through the school. Functions that the Association is involved with are primarily to enable us to offer scholarships to the graduating seniors. Other goals include raising funds to provide needed items for the school and teachers. And we participate in helping to organize and promote homecoming weekend activities. We are careful to ensure every cent raised by dues, donations, or memorial gifts go toward these purposes. The only exceptions are the costs of printing, supplies and postage necessary to get this information to you.
Dues are $15 per person per year. We encourage everyone to be a part of this organization.
